I treat young adults ages 18 - 30 years old with the goal of sorting through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to live a healthier life. I see clients who have experienced complex trauma in their formative years resulting in chronic post traumatic stress disorder. I help clients gain more control over their internal state, emotions, thoughts and behaviors by using psycho-education, building self awareness, and developing personal coping and problem solving skills to implement in their lives.

I teach clients about how the outside world and relationships in early childhood informed how their brains were wired to better understand their current struggles with emotions and behaviors. I use humor and empathy to build strong relationships with clients in order to create an environment that fosters healthy change.

I specialize in working with young adults struggling with housing, food instability,  un/under-employment, and complicated family dynamics. I am passionate about providing this population with high quality mental health care as many of them have had bad experiences in the larger medical model system in the past.

Lindsey Weber, MA
Pre-Licensed Professional
**Clinical trainee under Katie Barrett's supervision

Hi, I’m Lindsey Weber. The first step into therapy can feel uncomfortable and uncertain. My goal is to create a supportive, affirming, and collaborative environment where you are free to explore thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that are no longer serving you. I value the individual experience and work to create an equitable and inclusive experience that values and recognizes diversity and the individual.

I provide therapy to women and men, with a special interest in working with parents who are working to strengthen the connection between themselves and their child. In sessions I incorporate child development research, parenting practices, and therapeutic intervention to help parents improve how they interact, respond and connect with their child.

My number one goal in therapy is to create a space where you feel safe to examine and navigate through what is happening internally and externally in your world. Whether working through feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, and depression or examining ways to increase your overall satisfaction in your life, family and relationships.
